Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA)

PEA is a natural bioactive compound found in our cells, that is produced in response to cell or tissue damage.

The anti-inflammatory and immune modulating properties of PEA date back to 1957, showing its potent effects and safety profile in many clinical trials since.

PEA works in concert with CBD, as it indirectly activates CB1 and CB2 (Cannabinoid Type 1 & 2 Receptors).

PEA’s wide spectrum of biological properties includes both anti-inflammatory and pain relief, acting as a protective and repairing agent and supporting the endocannabinoid system in regulating the body healing process.
